New Selmoni headquarters, Münchenstein
The architectural firm Burckhardt+Partner has realized the new headquarters of the Selmoni Group for around 600 employees in Münchenstein near Basel. The new building enables the electrical and building services company to consolidate its office, workshop and warehouse space, previously spread across several locations in Basel's old town, into around 20,000 square meters. The building is an impressive example of contemporary architecture. It impresses with its design, functional structure and future-oriented construction.

All-round modern - playful interior meets contemporary façade design
The façade of the building is designed with large glass fronts that not only set architectural accents, but also provide plenty of daylight in the interior. This creates a bright, friendly and productive working atmosphere. In addition, round skylights allow natural light to penetrate deep into the interior of the building and contribute to the energy-efficient lighting of the workstations.
The Selmoni building is characterized by contemporary, clear lines and a striking façade design. The external appearance is characterized by a combination of glass and aluminium, which gives the building an elegant yet futuristic appearance. The building stands for modern architecture, sustainability, functionality, innovation and future orientation.
The appearance of the façade is emphasized by the high-quality IGP-HWFclassic 591TA80220R10 powder coating system, which offers reliable protection against the elements. Windows, sheet metal, frames and doors were coated with this deep matt, black powder coating, contributing to a uniform, high-quality appearance. The matt surface reduces reflections and gives the building a timeless, elegant look that blends seamlessly into the modern architecture. The coating work was carried out by Hevron SA from Courtételle.
A total of around 960 kilograms of powder coating was used on the 5,500 square meter façade.
