As a technical consultant for IGP Services, Sadat supports customers with their coating projects. The qualified car body painter has worked in various departments at IGP. In his current function, he advises and supports customers by phone, e-mail, and on site.

Every day, Sadat and his team in Technical Consulting IGP Services receive lots of inquiries from customers and the in-house sales team. Questions on the use of our powder coatings and their application fields, as well as exactly how to apply them, are routine. “If a customer faces unexpected difficulties, we take a good look at their coating plant and work process. Then we make the necessary adjustments. At the same time, we can identify any room for improvement at our end.” explains Sadat. IGP technical consultants are not only responsible for consulting and troubleshooting, but also for training courses and certifications. “Not many of our competitors offer this kind of service,” he says.

Sadat draws on the wide-ranging experience he has gained in various IGP departments. He started his career in Quality Assessment, then worked in the Customer Laboratory, followed by the Raw Materials team, before moving to Technical Consulting. “What I love about my work is that no two days are alike. We don’t just process routine tasks. Every case is different. Inquiries can be very complex. The challenge is to find a solution that’s right for both the customer and IGP. We want to be the right, long-term partner for our customers.”

Sadat finds the corporate culture at IGP very open and multi-cultural. “Everywhere I’ve worked, all my colleagues have treated me as an equal – right up to the CEO. You don’t notice hierarchies much. There’s a feeling that every employee is equally valued.”

Outside work, Sadat spends a lot of time with his family and practicing martial arts. That’s been his hobby since youth.  He also loves travelling. Business trips abroad are also part of his work at IGP.
