The powder coating primer for aluminum and steel with good UV resistance, which harmonizes perfectly with IGP powder coatings for facades. The V version is especially suitable for galvanized steel and other outgassing substrates.

The universally applicable IGP-KORROPRIMER 6007 is the perfect product for a wide range of applications. With its base of polyester resins, it offers high UV resistance, very good corrosion protection and perfect edge coverage. Thanks to the V-version, it is also suitable for use on galvanized steel and other outgassing substrates. The O-version impresses with improved overcoatability.

    When curing thick steel components we recommend to gel the primer and fully cure the part with the top coat.
    To avoid intercoat adhesion problems the maximum air temperature should be limited to 200°C.
    When curing in directly heated gas ovens, a sample should be done in advance to ensure the intercoat adhesion with the following top coat.
