IGP-RAPID® Workshop
The two-day event at IGP in Wil was all about the innovative IGP-RAPID® powder coating technology, which sets new standards in the finishing of wood and wood-based materials. The participants experienced theoretical insights, practical workshops and factory tours to discover the potential of this revolutionary coating. With low curing temperatures, high flexibility and sustainable benefits, IGP-RAPID® offers a pioneering solution for the wood processing industry.
The two-day event at IGP in Wil focused on the revolution in powder coating of wood and wood-based materials, especially with the innovative IGP-RAPID®. This powder coating technology offers unprecedented possibilities, especially for heat-sensitive materials such as MDF. Thanks to low curing temperatures from 130 °C and extremely short curing times of just three minutes, IGP-RAPID® opens up completely new perspectives for the coating of wooden components.
The first day of the event began with a theoretical part, which was supplemented by a tour of our production facilities. In the workshop, the participants were able to learn more about the flexibility and performance of IGP-RAPID® and take away relevant information for their everyday work. The second day was followed by a tour of FUST AG, where the application of this technology was demonstrated in practice.
IGP-RAPID® not only enables more economical processes, but also gives the surfaces a high-quality feel and look - ideal conditions for the wood processing industry to meet the increasing demands on aesthetics and function.
