PaintExpo kicks off IGP ON TOUR 2026
At PaintExpo 2026 in Karlsruhe, the IGP ON TOUR truck became a real crowd-puller and showed just how hands-on knowledge transfer can be today. The successful European roadshow is setting off once again: Starting in June, IGP Powder Coatings will bring its expertise directly to powder coating companies across the continent. On site, in the respective local language, and without requiring customers or their employees to travel, IGP delivers solutions that work immediately in day-to-day operations. In April 2026, IGP Powder Coatings returned to PaintExpo as an exhibitor after a hiatus. The IGP ON TOUR truck was the centerpiece of the exhibition stand and served as a lively meeting point throughout the event.
Compact training sessions took place inside the truck, while outside, curious industry professionals gathered for spontaneous discussions. Over coffee at standing tables, brief encounters turned into in-depth, hands-on technical discussions where valuable knowledge was shared.
Across Europe, with a local presence
PaintExpo – and with it the launch of this year’s roadshow – was a resounding success for IGP. From June through fall 2026, the IGP ON TOUR truck will travel across twelve European countries: Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Poland, Scandinavia, Switzerland, the Benelux countries, Germany, Italy, and France.
The core concept remains unchanged. Knowledge is shared exactly where it is needed in daily operations – and can be put into practice right away. For IGP Powder Coatings, this is a sustainable form of knowledge transfer – efficiently organized and with clear added value.
One key advantage is direct customer proximity: The roadshow truck stops right outside each company’s premises and offers tailored workshops in the local language. This eliminates the need for employees to travel, as the training takes place directly at their own facility – saving time, travel costs, and expenses.
An experience with added value
The truck comes fully equipped with sample materials, coating equipment, videos, and presentations. Each stop lasts around one and a half hours. During the session, the IGP team discusses specific challenges from participants’ day-to-day work and develops practical solutions based on their input. Afterward, refreshments are served right at the truck, providing an opportunity to unwind and continue the conversation. The ideal group size is six to twelve people. If needed, the workshop can be repeated several times on the same day. IGP covers all costs in full.
