IGP architecture customer wins German Design Award 2024
"Stream Office Tower Berlin" honored
The international jury has voted: A total of 65 "Gold" awards were presented in the "Excellent Product Design", "Excellent Communications Design" and "Excellent Architecture" disciplines at the German Design Award 2024. All winners were honoured at the award show on 26 January 2024 in Frankfurt am Main.
State-of-the-art design
An IGP architecture customer was honored in the "Excellent Architecture" discipline: the Berlin architectural firm Gewers Pudewill with the new office building "Stream Berlin". The Stream Tower is an architectural highlight at the vibrant Mediaspree location. The 24 storeys are staggered towards the sky, giving the approximately 97.5 metre high tower its characteristic shape. The building has large glazed façades and terraces on all floors so that this unique location can be experienced with all senses.
IGP Germany supplied around 10 tons of powder coating (IGP-HWFclassic 5903) in the colour silver-grey to coat the window profiles and sheets of the high-rise building. "The silver-grey colour IGP-HWFclassic 5903 immediately impressed the architect during the sampling process and supports his design intent of sculptural architecture," says Stefan Dalheim, Architectural Consultant at IGP Germany.
